Abstract

The Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) incubation program in the East Rabadompu area is designed as a comprehensive strategic solution to address the structural challenges faced by local artisans and business operators, particularly within the traditional *ikat* weaving sector. Historically, the community-based economic hubs in the region have been hindered by conventional management practices, low levels of product diversification and innovation, and minimal adoption of digital technology—factors that have resulted in limited market reach and a heavy reliance on middleman-dominated supply chains. To address these issues, the program implements a hybrid business incubation model focusing simultaneously on three key pillars: Local Economic Empowerment (strengthening business group institutions and providing micro-financial literacy education); Product Innovation (using a design-thinking approach to create contemporary motif variations and ready-to-wear fashion derivatives); and Market Digitalization (basic digital literacy training, social media optimization, and e-commerce platform management). The program employs a participatory Action Research and Capacity Building approach, encompassing stages such as pre-incubation, intensive training, and periodic on-site coaching, culminating in a final evaluation through "Demo Day" and business matching events. The expected outcomes include institutional self-reliance for MSMEs, a revenue increase of at least 35% to 50%, and the establishment of a highly competitive local digital economic ecosystem that is adaptable to modern market trends and capable of sustainably preserving ancestral cultural heritage.
