The ability to use good and correct Indonesian is an important part of developing literacy skills among elementary school children. Mastering punctuation and using language appropriately according to the communication context need to be introduced from an early age so that students can convey information clearly and accurately. This community service activity aimed to provide education on the use of punctuation and proper Indonesian language to elementary school children through two learning environments, namely a school and a KKN post. The school activity was conducted at SD Negeri 57 Kota Bengkulu and involved 30 fifth-grade students, while the activity at the KKN post involved 10 elementary school children from grades 1 to 6. The materials provided in both locations covered the functions and use of periods, commas, question marks, exclamation marks, hyphens, colons, and quotation marks, as well as the use of Indonesian according to the communication situation and interlocutor, standard and non-standard words, and simple sentence construction. The activities were conducted through interactive presentations, presentation media, examples, question-and-answer sessions, exercises, and simple practices. The implementation showed that the participants actively participated in the learning process and responded positively to the activities. The school activity was conducted in a more structured classroom setting, while the activity at the KKN post was carried out in a more informal setting by adapting the delivery of the material to the participants' age range. This activity is expected to help children develop habits of using punctuation and Indonesian appropriately in learning activities and everyday communication.
