Pemberdayaan Perempuan Berbasis Keterampilan Produktif sebagai Strategi Penguatan Kemandirian Ekonomi

Abstract

Women's empowerment is a crucial strategy for enhancing individual capacity and strengthening family economic resilience. One effective approach involves developing productive skills specifically batik making and transforming the knowledge gained through training into a valuable economic activity. This article analyzes the relationship between productive skill development and women's economic independence, based on research regarding batik training for the Majelis Taklim women at the Ibadurrahman Mosque in Pancoran Mas, Depok City. The study employed a quantitative approach, utilizing a survey of 15 respondents and regression analysis via SPSS. The results indicate that skill enhancement has a positive and significant impact on economic independence, with a significance value of 0.000 and an R-squared value of 0.978. These findings demonstrate that productive skills can serve as vital capital in women's empowerment when applied to economic activities. Consequently, women's empowerment efforts should not merely focus on skill transfer but must also address the development of production capacity, creativity, entrepreneurship, marketing, and the sustainability of independent businesses. This article underscores the importance of a community-based empowerment approach that integrates skills training with the strengthening of productive economic activities.
