Literacy is an important aspect in supporting children's ability to understand information, communicate, and express ideas. This community service activity aimed to provide a creative literacy learning experience through reading, coloring, storytelling, and writing activities for children in RT 06, Bentiring Village, Bengkulu City. The activity was conducted as part of the student Community Service Program (KKN) and involved 12 children ranging from kindergarten to sixth grade of elementary school. The activity was carried out on August 14, 21, and 28, 2026, with a duration of 300 minutes for each meeting. The method used was socialization and participatory mentoring through direct practice and assistance adjusted to the age and abilities of the children. Evaluation was conducted descriptively by observing children's participation, interaction, communication confidence, ability to follow instructions, and the results of their work. The results showed that the children actively participated in the activities and were able to engage in literacy activities according to their respective abilities. Reading and storytelling encouraged children to understand and communicate ideas, while writing and coloring provided opportunities for children to express their thoughts creatively. The activity also created a more relaxed and enjoyable non-formal learning environment. Therefore, creative literacy activities can provide meaningful learning experiences and support children's interest in literacy activities within the community.
